![]() ![]() I would contact MSI Support and see if they will RMA your board since you did use the proper tool (M-Flash) and I suppose the correct BIOS to update your motherboard's BIOS. From MSI Support, all the drivers are from 2011 and made for Windows 8.1 or below. Your motherboard is an old motherboard that doesn't have the newer technology in restoring corrupt or bad BIOS flashing such as those in the new motherboards. Anyway see if the LPT to JSPI1 connector works and get your motherboard BIOS working again. Many have RMAed their boards but I suspect your is out of warranty. You are not alone about what happened after flashing your MSI BIOS. Here is the thread from inside the above thread: LPT to JSPI1 connector on 790FX-GD70 motherboard . I not sure how it works but maybe you can find out. Go thru the thread and see if the thread comes up on how to fix the BIOS: Can't boot (FF) after bios flash with M-Flash 790FX-GD70įrom above thread it seems some one found a way to repair the botched BIOS on the motherboard. This thread from MSI Forum in 2009 has the exact same issue when he updated his BIOS on the same Motherboard.
